CASE STUDY · FANARI BOATS
A booking website built around how a small rental business actually works.
Fanari Boats needed a professional online presence that made choosing and booking a boat straightforward for customers. Behind it, the business needed a practical way to manage availability, reservations and everyday updates from one place.

THE CHALLENGE
More than a website.
Fanari Boats needed more than a place to present its boats. Customers needed a simple path from browsing to booking confirmation, while the team needed one reliable view of availability and reservations—whether a booking arrived through the website, by phone, on WhatsApp or in person.
The challenge was to bring both sides together without making either feel complicated.
THE APPROACH
Simple decisions, shaped around everyday operations.
- 01
Keep the customer journey short
Visitors can browse the fleet, choose a boat and date, add any extras and send a booking request without creating an account or navigating payment steps the business does not need.
- 02
Bring every reservation into one place
Online requests and manually added bookings share the same dashboard and calendar, giving the team a clearer view of availability regardless of how each customer gets in touch.
- 03
Keep routine updates with the business
Boats, pricing, business details and key website content can be updated through the private admin area without developer involvement.
WHAT WE BUILT
One customer experience. One practical system behind it.
- 01
A clear route from boat to booking
Customers can explore the available boats, choose a date, add optional extras and submit a booking request from mobile or desktop. A clear confirmation screen and email explain what happens next.
- 02
Booking management that matches real life
A private dashboard brings together online requests and reservations taken by phone, WhatsApp or in person. Staff can add bookings manually, review the calendar, update their status and keep availability accurate from one working view.
- 03
Communication and everyday control
Customer confirmations and admin notifications keep both sides informed. Booking references and QR access help staff retrieve reservation details quickly, while boats, pricing and essential website settings remain editable.

TECHNICAL FOUNDATION
Built as a system for daily use.

- Supabase
- PostgreSQL
- Resend
- Vercel
Public booking creation and private business data use controlled access rules and authenticated admin permissions.
THE RESULT
One connected booking workflow.
The result is more than a public-facing website. Fanari Boats now has one connected system for presenting the fleet, collecting booking requests, managing reservations and handling everyday updates. It is live as a real production booking workflow, designed to stay straightforward for customers and practical for non-technical staff.
